3x12 Hour Night Shifts Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Float Pool assignment in a fast-paced acute care environment. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively across multiple units and patient populations. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Care Planning Perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs. Recognize and communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and healthcare team members. Develop, coordinate, and update individualized plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Establish measurable patient goals and participate in care planning conferences and shift handoffs. Clinical Care & Implementation Deliver evidence-based nursing care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and professional standards. Administer treatments, medications, and nursing interventions accurately and safely. Provide patient and family education tailored to individual care needs. Demonstrate critical thinking when reviewing physician orders and coordinating patient care. Respond effectively to emergency situations using sound clinical judgment and nursing skills. Maintain infection prevention and safety standards to ensure a safe patient care environment. Evaluation & Collaboration Continuously evaluate patient responses to treatment and revise care plans as needed. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams. Utilize effective communication and handoff processes to ensure continuity of care. Support discharge planning and coordinate appropriate referrals throughout hospitalization.
