Contract (13 Weeks) Job Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care in a Med Surg/Telemetry environment with a strong focus on orthopedic patients. This role requires flexibility to float across units and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, acute care setting. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to Med Surg, Telemetry, and Orthopedic patients. Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry alerts. Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Document patient care using systems such as Epic Systems. Serve in a charge nurse capacity when required. Float to other units as needed within scope and competency. Schedule & Work Environment Night shifts (12-hour shifts) Full-time schedule (3 shifts per week) Floating required based on facility needs Acute care hospital setting Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific) Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience in a large healthcare facility Strong orthopedic (Ortho) experience required Charge nurse experience required Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic Systems Certifications Required BLS (Basic Life Support) ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Ability to pass EKG competency/assessment For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
