Contract (13 Weeks) Job Summary The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) will provide specialized respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a hospital setting. This role requires strong experience in NICU and PICU environments, delivering critical respiratory support to infants and children. Key Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy treatments to neonatal and pediatric patients. Manage ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and other life-support equipment. Assess patient respiratory status and respond to critical care needs. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams in NICU and PICU settings. Administer medications and therapies related to respiratory care. Monitor and document patient progress accurately. Participate in emergency response and critical care interventions. Ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and clinical protocols. Schedule & Work Environment Night shifts (12-hour shifts) Full-time schedule (3 shifts per week) Rotating weekends (every other weekend required) On-call requirement: limited call shifts within scheduling cycle Pediatric/Children's hospital setting Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in NICU and/or PICU settings (required) Strong experience in pediatric and neonatal respiratory care Active Respiratory Therapist license (state-specific) CRT or RRT certification Certifications required: BLS (Basic Life Support) PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Preferred Skills Experience in high-acuity children's hospitals Advanced ventilator management skills in neonatal and pediatric populations Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
