36 Hours/Week Job Summary "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting. The RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care, administering treatments, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards while maintaining safety and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and deliver direct patient care Execute provider orders and administer medications as prescribed Assist healthcare providers during examinations and treatment procedures Conduct sick calls and prepare exam rooms and medical equipment Monitor patient health conditions and respond to medical needs promptly Perform emergency procedures and coordinate care with medical staff Supervise and support LPNs and non-licensed healthcare personnel Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential medical records Manage medication administration and documentation (including pill call) Coordinate referrals and treatment with external healthcare providers Monitor hospitalizations and evaluate healthcare service utilization Provide patient education and health counseling Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and controlled substance policies Maintain a safe and secure clinical environment Assist with audits, reporting, and accreditation processes Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma or Degree) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Valid driver's license required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
