$57 Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required Experience with heavy Orthopedic, Urology, Spine, and Robotic procedures preferred Experience using
EPIC EMR
preferred License & Certification Requirements Active Illinois RN License BLS/CPR Certification Call & Weekend Requirements 1 weekday call shift and 2 weekend call days per month minimum Additional call may be required based on department needs Floating to other facilities may be required Job Summary The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The RN will provide perioperative nursing care while maintaining patient safety and quality standards throughout surgical procedures. Key Responsibilities Assess patient physical, mental, and emotional needs Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans Monitor and report changes in patient condition Provide patient and family education Maintain accurate and complete medical documentation Support a collaborative and professional work environment Participate in continuing education and competency development Follow all patient safety and core measure standards Important Notes Day shift assignment No guaranteed hours On-call pager rate provided Holiday pay and callback pay available Facility does not accept 1099 contractors Overtime applies after 40 hours/week Position urgency: Normal
