Registered Nurse Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a highly qualified Registered Nurse Supervisor to oversee clinical operations within our healthcare facility. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities across multiple departments, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and quality standards. Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff, fostering professional development and maintaining high levels of team engagement. Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and medical documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare laws, including OSHA standards and NCQA accreditation requirements. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, manage complex cases involving dementia care or behavioral health issues, and facilitate effective communication among providers. Monitor EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Cerner or Epic for accurate documentation and data management. Lead infection control initiatives, aseptic techniques, and safety protocols to minimize risks within clinical environments. Conduct regular audits of patient records, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology), and DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) documentation for billing accuracy. Manage utilization review processes for appropriate resource allocation and patient care optimization. Participate in staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing training programs to ensure operational efficiency.

Pay:

$60.00 - $67.00 per hour
