Job Summary Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Forensics Nursing Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Registered Nurse Supervisor! The Registered Nurse Supervisor provides supervision in the coordination and delivery of nursing care provided to clients at Forensic Mental Health Program. This position serves as a leader and resource person for nursing staff and other employees and uses the nursing process as a guideline to ensure that staff are providing an appropriate level of skilled clinical nursing care. In addition, this position is responsible for: Participate in establishing and coordinating the implementation of the mission, philosophy, goals, and objectives, and standards of practice, care and performance for nursing care within Forensic Services. Participate in maintaining adequate and appropriate staffing levels in Forensic Services. The Forensic Services campus in St. Peter is comprised of the Forensic Mental Health Program and the Forensic Nursing Home. Forensic Services provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness who present a risk to public safety. It is located in South Central Minnesota, approximately 60 miles southwest of the Twin Cities and 12 miles north of Mankato.
