Registered Respiratory Therapist in Plains, GA

Category Respiratory Therapist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of two years' clinical experience for a contract opportunity. This position is ideal for professionals specializing in adult, neonate, and (soon) pediatric care who thrive in dynamic hospital environments and possess a full skill set in respiratory therapy, including advanced interventions and emergency response.

Schedule/Hours:

12-hour night shifts, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (7p-7a) One call shift per month (30-minute response time required) Rotating holiday schedule with permanent team Must meet a strict 75-mile radius requirement based on primary residence

Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), active and in good standing Minimum 2 years' recent RRT (non-travel) experience BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required EMR experience with Meditech preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to provide required documentation: diploma, licenses, certificates, and educational transcripts related to respiratory care and relevant laboratory procedures

Key Responsibilities:

Manage caseload of approximately 35 respiratory therapy treatments per shift Work with adult, neonatal, and soon pediatric patient populations, including ER, ICU, nursery, and deliveries Utilize and manage vents, BiPAP, high flow nasal cannula, tracheostomies, and EKGs Assist with intubations, respond to code blue/emergencies, conduct ABG draws and analyses Document patient care using Meditech EMR Participate in floor orientation (2 shifts) and adhere to facility protocols, including wearing ceil blue scrubs Engage in team rotations for weekends and holidays If you are a skilled RRT dedicated to high standards in patient care and ready for a rewarding contract role with a committed healthcare team, we encourage you to apply today and take the next step in your career!
