Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on students' lives and support educational success in a dynamic school environment as a Contract School Psychologist. This opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering academic, social, and emotional growth, and who thrive in a collaborative setting. You will work closely with staff, students, and families to promote student well-being and provide critical psychological services.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by state regulations) Graduate degree in School Psychology or a related field Experience providing assessments, counseling, and consultative services in school settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with special needs Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data Provide direct and indirect counseling and intervention services for students, as needed Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to design individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expert recommendations on student progress and support strategies Deliver crisis intervention and develop preventive mental health programs within the school environment Support efforts to improve student behavior, engagement, and achievement
