Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Familiarity with ventilator management, arterial blood gas analysis, and airway care Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Previous experience in acute care or hospital settings is highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

Perform assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders Administer oxygen, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy according to physician orders Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators and other respiratory equipment Conduct diagnostic procedures including pulmonary function tests and blood gas analysis Provide patient and family education on respiratory therapies and equipment Accurately document all therapies, treatments, and patient responses in medical records Assist in emergency respiratory care, including code and rapid response situations This role offers the chance to expand your clinical skills in a supportive environment with fellow healthcare professionals.
