Qualifications & Experience:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required Valid and current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist Demonstrated knowledge of respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and equipment Experience with adult and/or pediatric patient populations preferred Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS, PALS, or NRP preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory therapies based on physician orders and patient conditions Perform diagnostic procedures including arterial blood gas draws and analysis Administer oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy as indicated Manage and monitor mechanical ventilators and non-invasive ventilation devices Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home therapies Accurately document all therapy provided and patient responses in the medical record Respond effectively to emergency situations and rapid response calls
