Registered Veterinary Technician

Kirtland Veterinary Hospital is looking to add another Registered Technician to our already very talented team. We are a well-established, 7 doctor, privately owned, small animal practice with very high staff retention. Modern 6000 sq ft facility next to Kirtland Schools. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a set 4 day work week, only one Saturday required every 6-8 weeks, and no evening hours. Individual must be ambitious, have a sense of humor and service oriented to complement our great staff. We have a beautiful facility with all the amenities, awesome doctors and awesome support staff. • Performing venipuncture, IV catheter placement, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections.
• Performing in house laboratory testing, and preparing samples for submission to our reference lab.
• Taking digital radiographs.
• Seeing tech appointments for anal glands, nail trims, and laser therapy sessions.
• Prepping patients for surgery, and monitoring anesthesia.
• Post surgical and hospitalized patient monitoring.
• Working closely with our Veterinarians to provide the highest quality care for our patients. Our compensation package includes;
