How you'll contribute A Registrar who excels in this role: Directs patients and visitors while promoting positive guest relations. Accurately obtains demographic and insurance information, and is responsible for upfront collections. Is responsible for the Admission/Registration, Pre-Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers of patients. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for: Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree is preferred. 1 year of experience working in a medical/business office setting is strongly preferred. Previous experience working with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance rules and regulations strongly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred.
