Rehab Director SNF Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Rehab Director specializing in Speech-Language Pathology for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Duties Lead and supervise the speech-language pathology team, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality care. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each resident's unique needs and recovery goals. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to coordinate comprehensive care plans. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including documentation standards and therapy protocols. Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management within the speech therapy department to maximize efficiency. Stay current with industry best practices and emerging therapies by participating in ongoing education and professional development. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement in resident outcomes. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Proven leadership experience within a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, neurological conditions, dysphagia management, and cognitive-linguistic disorders. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams. $85,000.00 - $92,000.00 per year
