Rehabilitation Technician

This is a temporary position to cover time when current staff is on vacation. Duties Support therapists by preparing treatment areas, setting up equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for therapy sessions. Assist patients with exercises, mobility activities, and functional tasks under supervision, ensuring proper technique and safety. Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, documenting progress and communicating observations to the clinical team. Help with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical histories and explaining treatment plans to ensure comfort and understanding. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of rehabilitation equipment, adhering to infection control protocols. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, offering encouragement, and fostering a supportive environment throughout the rehabilitation process. Collaborate with hospital staff in both inpatient and outpatient settings to coordinate care plans for optimal recovery outcomes. Requirements Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation practices. Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care with a focus on safety, comfort, and motivation. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, orthopedics, and adolescent. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate patients about their treatment plans.
