Job Description

Talon/LPE is a leader in environmental consulting, field services, remediation, and environmental drilling, serving Texas and surrounding regions for over 25 years. As a Remediation Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting environmental cleanup and remediation projects. This hands-on, field-based position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, traveling to diverse job sites, and being part of a supportive team. Responsibilities Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot remediation systems Collect environmental samples, including soil, water, and vapor Perform equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance Conduct field investigations and document findings Support environmental cleanup activities Complete detailed field notes and data entry Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Travel to remote project sites as needed Assist with contractor oversight and field operations Collaborate with environmental scientists, engineers, and project managers to ensure project success Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Valid Drivers License Ability to lift at least 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Strong work ethic and positive attitude Willingness to travel and work at remote job sites Commitment to working safely and following procedures Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience (preferred) Experience with equipment operation (preferred) Environmental field, construction, industrial, oilfield, or labor experience (preferred) OSHA training (a plus) Benefits Competitive pay Overtime opportunities Travel opportunities Hands-on training Career advancement opportunities Comprehensive benefits package Supportive team environment A company culture built on respect, accountability, and teamwork Experience and License Requirements Environmental field experience (optional) Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting (optional) OSHA training (optional)
