Remodeler / Small Job Specialist

Job Overview K-Construction is hiring a skilled Remodeler / Small Job Specialist to handle small to mid-size residential projects. This role focuses on finish work, repairs, and detail-driven installations. You'll be working directly in clients' homes, so quality workmanship, professionalism, and clear communication are critical. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their work, and can run smaller projects independently. Responsibilities Complete small remodel projects (bathrooms, kitchens, accent walls, upgrades) Perform general home repairs (drywall patches, door adjustments, fixture replacements, minor framing) Install trim carpentry (baseboards, crown molding, casing, built-ins) Install tile (floors, showers, backsplashes) including proper prep and layout Maintain clean, organized job sites—especially in occupied homes Keep projects on schedule while maintaining K-Construction quality standards Communicate clearly with homeowners on progress and expectations Troubleshoot and solve issues independently on site Qualifications Experience in residential remodeling, finish carpentry, or general repairs Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Ability to manage and complete small projects independently Professional communication and customer-service mindset Reliable transportation and valid driver's license What We're Looking For Someone who takes ownership and follows through Comfortable working in occupied homes and representing the company well Problem-solver who can adapt in the field Team-oriented but capable of working independently Why K-Construction At K-Construction, we focus on doing the job right and building long-term relationships with our clients and community.
