Job Description

R&D Technical Specialist The Technical Specialist manages technical aspects of Lift Chair and/or Mobility products. Primary responsibility includes coordinating, developing, and maintaining technical literature and management of change orders. In addition, this role will serve as a coordinator of assigned development projects. Responsibilities and Duties Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including but not limited to Owner's Manuals, QuickStart Guides, Illustrated Part Breakdowns (IPB's), Size Charts, and Label Location Diagrams (LLD's). Coordinate the review and finalization of technical documents with cross-functional teams. Coordinate change orders, including processing of requests, completion of forms, and communication channels. Manage communications and development of assigned projects, including sample procurement and verification. Provide timely responses to job related questions via phone or email communications. Assist the Research and Development Team with miscellaneous tasks as requested. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Required Skills and Qualifications Must be skilled in time management, be a team player, detail-oriented, honest, and diplomatic. Must have the ability to muti-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment High school diploma required (associate degree preferred). Strong communication and organizational skills. Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Basic working knowledge with Adobe Suite applications preferred Experience in working with various tools in a workshop setting. Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.
