Residence Counselor Location:

40-hour work week (Monday-Friday) Overtime pay and double-time pay on holidays Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting the 1st of the month following your hire 401(k) retirement plan Generous paid time off: vacation, holidays, sick days, and personal time Mileage reimbursement for travel as required
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive, therapeutic relationships with residents in a supportive housing environment. Support residents in achieving the goals outlined in their individualized service plans. Promote autonomy and decision-making through encouragement and guidance. Advocate for residents as needed in accessing medical, financial, and clinical resources. Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive living environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Valid New York State driver's license (required for most positions) Must pass background clearances including the Justice Center and NYS Office of Children and Family Services Central Register Database How to
