We are currently seeking two qualified candidates to act as Residence Managers. The Residence Manager is responsible for overseeing all administrative, clinical, and physical plant operations of a Community Living Arrangement (CLA) in accordance with the goals, objectives, and Mission and Vision of CLASP Homes, Inc. This position reports to the Program Director

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent; Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Related Field. Managers will possess experience working with a diverse population, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask. Must maintain a valid Connecticut Driver's License. Supervisory experience required.

SALARY:

Commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

First and foremost - Ensures that each resident is always treated with respect and dignity. Facilitates the full participation of the residents within their local community. Following are some of the duties and responsibilities of a house manager. A more detailed job description will be available at time of interview.  Develop, review, coordinate and implement the residents' Individual Plan  Procure, administer, and document all medication and treatments  Communication open position to HR. Participate in selection of qualified Candidates  Oversee orientation and training of new staff  Complete staff evaluations  Ensure all aspects of the program are incompliance with CLASP and state agencies along with any applicable paperwork  Ensure all house staff maintain status in all required State and Agency in-services and certifications  Teach annual in-house curriculum and provide emergency response trainings including monthly fire drills  Participate in in-service seminars and workshops and any other activities related to professional growth and development  Monitor spending with an eye on agency and resident budgets  Maintain home and vehicle in a clean and working state. Home should be kept always stocked with food and general supplies  Schedule and submit bi-weekly staff schedules  Communicate regularly with Program Director regarding all aspects of the home with special attention to health and safety  Maintain the highest level of confidentiality  Use creative problem solving with any issue that arises in day-to-day life in the home  Assume on-call duties for the program on a rotating basis
