Job Description

About Us:
Golden Circle Management Group is a dedicated property management company committed to providing high-quality service and fostering strong tenant relationships across our commercial and residential portfolio.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, proactive Resident Manager Maintenance Technician to live on-site and support daily property operations at our Burney Commons property (a 30-unit Affordable Housing Community). This position includes a 2-bedroom unit in exchange for 10 hours of work per week. Additional hours beyond the initial 10 will be compensated for $21 to $23 per hour (based on experience). This role is essential in keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained for our residents. Responsibilities include daily upkeep of common areas, routine inspections, minor repairs, and support for property operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain dumpster areas, parking lot. Empty doggie relief stations and remove trash and litter from the exterior of the building and sidewalks daily. Perform small handyman repairs in units and common areas (e.g., minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and appliance fixes within scope of ability). Conduct routine inspections of units and common areas, reporting any issues requiring additional attention. Clean and maintain common areas including hallways, lobbies, laundry rooms, and outdoor grounds. Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner. Monitor building systems and report safety hazards, maintenance concerns, or repair needs. Support the property management team with special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred, especially in residential or multifamily housing. Ability to safely operate basic tools and cleaning equipment. General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Positive, self-motivated, and customer-service oriented.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work such as bending, climbing, and carrying. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Schedule:
Part-time - approximately 5 hours per day. May increase based on need. Flexibility to assist with occasional after-hours emergencies.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Benefits may be available depending on position status (full-time/part-time).

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work such as bending, climbing, and carrying. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move frequently throughout the workday. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination necessary to operate a computer keyboard, mobile devices, and standard office equipment safely and efficiently. Must have adequate visual and auditory acuity to perform inspections, identify property issues, read documents, and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via electronic communication. Pay:
