Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Residential Electrician and bring electrical expertise to residential construction and renovation projects. In this vital role, you'll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems in homes, ensuring safety, compliance, and quality at every step. Your skills will help create safe, efficient, and modern living spaces for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment while contributing to beautiful home transformations. Duties Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and electrical panels according to blueprints and schematics Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installations Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on existing electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other testing devices Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local safety standards Perform low voltage wiring for security systems, alarms, or automation devices as needed Assist with renovation projects by updating or replacing outdated electrical components Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience as a residential electrician with knowledge of NEC standards and electrical codes Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction site procedures Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and testing equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks Experience with low voltage systems including security alarms or home automation is a plus Ability to work on construction sites safely while managing multiple tasks efficiently Strong understanding of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in residential settings Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving framing carpentry or handyman skills is advantageous Valid electrician license or certification as required by local regulations Join us to build safe, innovative homes while advancing your career in residential electrical work!
