Job Description
Our client is seeking to add a licensed and experienced Journeyman Electrician to support electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work at primarily residential projects.
Job Summary:
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics, work confidently with high and low voltage systems, and collaborate with other trades on active job sites while ensuring all work meets applicable electrical codes and safety standards.Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in primarily residential environments, and some commercial settings Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute electrical work Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform diagnostics, and complete repairs efficiently Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety requirements Work closely with other tradespeople and internal team members to complete projects on schedule Provide professional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients Stay current on industry trends, tools, and advancements related to electrical systems and best practicesRequirements:
Valid Ohio journeyman electrician license 5+ years of experience as an electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and troubleshooting techniques Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record OSHA certification is a plusBenefits:
