Residential Field Supervisor

Job Summary:

Carnes Earthmoving's Field Supervisor is to provide a series of tasks leading a team of people collectively to complete projects on budget, on time and completed correctly, while also maintaining Carnes Earthmovings professional standards.

Duties:

Directs crew & activities on the job site. Accountable for crews production rates and material budgets. Communicates schedule changes to Project Manager or additional resources required to complete the job on budget. Maintains a clean, organized and safe job site including equipment and vehicle(s). Ensures that all excavation work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards. Regular communication with our clients & Production Manager(s). Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including skid steer, mini excavator, large frame excavator, dozer, and scraper. Good time management skills; Willingness to work long hours as needed. Ensures diggers hotline locates are valid prior to excavation. Trains & Develops Crew Members & Lead Crew Members. Ability to run a crew that performs $1,000,000

• 1,500,000 in billable revenue per year.

Requirements:

Drivers License & able to be insured on company's Insurance Policy. Excellent, clear communication skills (written & Verbal) Dependable Ability to resolve conflicts Ability to take constructive criticism Attention to detail Knowledge of transit reading, level and ability to establish grades. Excellent blueprint reading skills Experience or willing to adapt with technology that's integrated in our day to day business management software & Production.
