We focus on efficiency, reliability, and strong builder relationships across high-volume projects. We're looking to add a sharp, detail-oriented team member who can support HVAC design (Manual J, D, S) and estimating work. Role Overview This role is ideal for someone early in their career who understands residential HVAC design principles and wants to grow in a fast-paced construction environment. You'll primarily be responsible for performing load calculations, duct design, and equipment selection for new homes, while also supporting plumbing estimating tasks as needed (we'll train you on this side). Key Responsibilities Perform Manual J load calculations for residential homes Design duct systems using Manual D Select HVAC equipment using Manual S Review plans and ensure designs align with builder requirements and field conditions Coordinate with internal teams to support production timelines Assist with plumbing estimating (training provided) Help improve and streamline internal design/estimating processes Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in HVAC design, mechanical design, or related field Experience doing (not just reading) Manual J, D, and S (residential focus preferred) Experience with design software (e.g., Wrightsoft, Elite, or similar) is required Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently at volume Comfortable working with construction plans and production builders Eagerness to learn and take on new responsibilities Compensation & Benefits $70,000•$85,000 depending on experience Health, dental & vision benefits Paid time off 6% 401(k) match Opportunity for growth as the company scales Why This Role Work directly with leadership in a growing company Gain exposure to both HVAC design and estimating Be part of building efficient systems from the ground up Clear path for increased responsibility and compensation
