In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency in their homes. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment according to schematics and HVAC design plans. Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing HVAC systems to ensure peak performance. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings for accurate system installation. Coordinate with property owners and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards. Conduct field service visits for system inspections, troubleshooting, and appliance repair as needed. Utilize welding, plumbing, refrigeration, and ammonia refrigeration skills when required for specialized installations or repairs. Qualifications Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including refrigeration units and ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Experience working with schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans. Mechanical skills including equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance are essential. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing systems and appliance repair techniques is beneficial. Strong field service experience with excellent problem-solving skills.
