Depending on the specifics of a job, their primary duty is to either maintain systems or install new units. Other common responsibilities for our HVAC Technicians include: Removing and installing HVAC systems Performing routine maintenance Training junior team members Communicating with clients and customers Ordering and maintaining equipment Meeting local HVAC codes HVAC Technician skills and qualifications - Drivers license -EPA certified HVAC work is challenging, both in terms of the technical knowledge needed for the job and the difficulty of diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment. Problem-solving is a big part of the job, and our workers need good communication skills so they can explain what repairs need to be made and why. HVAC Technicians also need a variety of highly technical skills and qualifications, including: Running pipe and duct systems through homes Removing old HVAC equipment so new systems can be installed Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams Understanding refrigeration cycles Knowing how to interpret various technical data, such as pressure and temp Typical end time: 4PM Typical start time: 7
