Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Residential HVAC Installer and become a vital part of creating comfortable, energy-efficient homes for our customers. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings. Your mechanical expertise and attention to detail will ensure each installation meets high standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your construction knowledge and technical skills to transform living spaces while advancing your career in the HVAC industry. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems, including ductless mini splits ducted heat pumps central air swap outs , and ventilation equipment in residential properties. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation. Conduct system testing, calibration, and commissioning to guarantee optimal performance. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, plumbing connections, and appliances. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to repair or modify systems as needed. Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and service work to protect yourself and clients. Communicate effectively with property owners to explain system features and maintenance procedures. Qualifications Proven experience in construction, HVAC service technician work, or related mechanical fields. Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems, schematics, refrigeration, plumbing, and appliance repair. Familiarity with HVAC design principles and property maintenance practices. Mechanical aptitude with experience using tools like ohmmeters, welding equipment, and diagnostic devices. Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration or boiler systems is advantageous but not required.
