Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Residential HVAC Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services to our valued clients. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of residential HVAC systems. Your expertise will ensure our customers enjoy optimal comfort and energy efficiency in their homes. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-tier service. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as condensate drainage and refrigerant line connections. Conduct refrigeration repairs involving ammonia refrigeration systems or other refrigerants used in residential settings. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and ensure system integrity. Maintain property by performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs on HVAC equipment. Operate a driver vehicle safely for transportation between job sites while adhering to all safety regulations. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction, equipment repair, welding, and boiler systems. Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for complex HVAC design and troubleshooting. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC units and appliance repair skills for various household appliances. Familiarity with property maintenance practices including field service operations and general building upkeep. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration or other specialized refrigeration systems is a plus. Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; ability to perform equipment repair efficiently.
