Plumber Technician

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction plumbing and possess the necessary skills to handle various plumbing tasks in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems. Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly of various plumbing components. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and repair tasks. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems. Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure timely project completion. Handle heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Provide maintenance person services as needed, including basic carpentry tasks and remodeling projects. Skills Strong knowledge of construction practices, particularly in construction plumbing. Proficiency in welding techniques and pipe threading methods. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations. Experience with heavy lifting and physical labor in a construction environment. A valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
