Residential Shift Supervisor

Program Director SCOPE:

Work as part of the residential team in implementing programming, structure, and supervision. Responsible for staff and students in a 24-bed residential treatment setting on assigned shifts. Ensure that the program operates efficiently and effectively and within all applicable rules and standards. This is a full-time position with various, consistent 7:00am-3:00pm or 2:30pm-10:30pm shifts. One Sunday shift is required in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direction of the Residential Program Director, responsible for effective daily operations of residential programming, including student welfare, scheduled activities, house cleanliness, daily documentation, etc. Directly supervise assigned Youth Mentors, including staff assignments, supervision, engagement, and performance. Facilitate daily communication with Youth Mentors to ensure understanding of program policies and procedures. Regularly train, coach, and support employee competency and culture (i.e., new-hire orientation, individual coaching, corrective action) Facilitate programmatic activities with support from staff members and directors. Ensure that all programs and services operate within applicable licensing, contractual, regulatory and accrediting standards (i.e., safety drills, documentation, etc.) Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage programs and services in a fiscally responsible and cost effective manner, operating programs within approved budgets. Maintain a safe, clean, healthy, ethical and humanistic work environment. Maintain positive relationships with the community throughout off-campus activities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Some college education in a related field Prior work-related treatment experience. Supervisory experience in this industry preferred. Demonstrated competence in the area of program management. Must be able to pass an annual Background Screening (BCI).
