With over 250 acres of beautiful property, multiple restaurants, event spaces, golf, a marina, and year‑round activities, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding hospitality supported by a dedicated and skilled team. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering & Facilities team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem solver with strong technical abilities and a commitment to keeping our resort operating safely, smoothly, and efficiently. This role supports daily maintenance operations, repairs, preventive programs, and special projects across the property. Responsibilities Perform routine and emergency maintenance on resort buildings, equipment, and systems Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues Complete preventative maintenance tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor Assist with pool and spa maintenance, including water testing and equipment care Support groundskeeping, winter operations, and seasonal facility needs Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and issues identified Ensure all work follows safety regulations, resort standards, and industry best practices Provide excellent internal customer service to staff and departments requesting assistance Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours situations as needed Qualifications Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities, or a related trade Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple disciplines (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC) Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic computer knowledge for work order systems and documentation Ability to lift 50+ lbs., climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions Pool operator, HVAC certification, or trade licenses a plus Hospitality or resort maintenance experience preferred but not required What We Offer Competitive compensation Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off and holiday pay Resort discounts on dining, activities, golf, spa, and lodging Opportunities for training and growth within the Engineering Department A supportive and collaborative team environment in a beautiful lakeside setting
