Job Summary The Resource Specialist - HR Ancillary & Volunteer Programs supports the overall functions of CHOC's volunteer program; recruits, interviews, places, trains, coaches and counsels, and terminates volunteers for cause when necessary. Supports ancillary and recognition programs. Supports organizational crisis management that is provided by Resource Specialists. Pay Range Minimum $58,386 Midpoint $77,334 Maximum $96,325 Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements. Experience •
Required:
Minimum two (2) years of volunteer management experience. •Preferred:
One (1) or more years of hospital volunteer experience. Education •Required:
Bachelor's degree. Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of education. Training •Required:
None required. Specialized Skills •Required:
Extensive knowledge of MS office and various software applications. Ability to think and work independently, strategically, and analytically with the ability to work in complex environment. Ability to work with all levels of staff up to leaders and executive management. Licensure •Required:

Volunteer Management Certification. Work Environments -Functional Demand:
