Weekend Differential Sign-On Bonus:

$20,000 (2-Year Commitment Required) Position Summary The Registered Respiratory Therapist is primarily responsible for providing both basic and advanced professional respiratory care services to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients under the medical direction of the Respiratory Therapy Medical Director. The therapist plans, implements, evaluates, and modifies respiratory care according to the individual needs of each patient. This role requires independent clinical judgment, accurate patient assessment, and effective communication with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures to patients of all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations Assess patient respiratory status and recommend appropriate therapeutic interventions Operate and monitor respiratory care equipment and devices Perform airway management, oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, ventilator management, and other respiratory procedures Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify care plans as appropriate Accurately document patient care and treatment information using

EPIC EMR

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory treatments and therapies Make appropriate and accurate clinical observations and communicate findings promptly

QualificationsRequired:

Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program Must successfully complete: Written Registry Exam Clinical Simulation Exam Eligible for or currently holding: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential Current BLS Certification (or ability to obtain prior to start) Strong critical thinking and communication skills Ability to work independently within scope of practice

Preferred:
