Duties Include:
Assess, interview, and examine patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop respiratory treatment plans Manage respiratory therapy treatments and interventions Monitor patient progress and document clinical outcomes Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory treatments and equipment usage Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, CPAP/BIPAP machines, and airway management equipment Support pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory wellness initiatives Ensure compliance with infection control and patient safety standards Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required Current RRT credential in good standing Current BLS certification required Strong communication and clinical assessment skills New graduates encouraged to apply Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, ICU, pulmonary rehab, LTACH, or ventilator care is helpful but not required Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, and clinical teams Physical & Professional Requirements Compassionate and patient centered approach to care Dependable and committed to resident well being Ability to work in a fast paced healthcare environment Strong teamwork and communication skills Ability to safely assist with patient care activities as needed Make a Difference Every Day At Ohman Family Living, your expertise directly impacts the quality of life and respiratory health of the residents we serve.
