Essential Duties:

The essential duties of our respite caregivers are to ensure safety and provide companionship to someone with a disability. Duties consist of daily activities (feeding, dressing, toileting assistance), daily routines, and/or homework. We encourage our caregivers to engage and initiate age-appropriate activities for the client and build positive relationships with the family and clients.

Required Qualifications:

Possession of a valid Driver's License or State-Issued ID Valid auto insurance coverage Current CPR and First Aid certification (Infants, Children, and Adults) Current negative Tuberculosis (TB) test Ability to successfully pass a background check Reliable transportation Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (bilingual preferred) Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior caregiving experience Experience working with, or exposure to, individuals with disabilities Willingness to assist with personal care needs, including toileting assistance

Salary:

Starting rate of $19.35
