Prepare and serve beverages according to recipes, standards, and guest preferences Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to all guests Maintain full knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, and promotions Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws Accurately process orders and payments using the POS system Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, tools, and equipment Restock bar supplies, garnishes, and inventory as needed Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service Follow all safety, sanitation, and health department standards Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate when necessary Other duties as assigned by Supervisor. The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming and elevated first impression that reflects the luxury and family-adventure spirit of Dellshire Resort. This position is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing reservations and seating flow efficiently, and ensuring that every guest begins their dining experience with exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. Greet guests with enthusiasm and professionalism upon arrival. Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments to optimize dining room flow. Escort guests to tables and present menus, introducing server as appropriate. Communicate estimated wait times and ensure accurate guest updates. Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide accurate information about the restaurant and resort. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and lobby area. Coordinate with servers, server assistants, and management to ensure efficient guest seating and turnover. Support team members during peak service by resetting tables and assisting as needed. Maintain a composed, gracious demeanor in high-volume settings. Uphold Dellshire Resort's standards of service, presentation, and guest engagement at all times. The Server Assistant supports the front-of-house dining team by ensuring an organized, clean, and well-prepared environment for both guests and servers. This position plays a key role in maintaining the efficiency and flow of restaurant operations by promptly clearing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting servers with guest needs. The Server Assistant contributes to the overall guest experience by upholding Dellshire Resort's high standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and service excellence. Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables quickly and efficiently. Deliver food and beverage items to tables as needed and support timely guest service. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, side stations, and service corridors throughout the shift. Ensure tables, chairs, glassware, and utensils are properly sanitized, polished, and stocked. Restock service stations with silverware, napkins, condiments, and other supplies. Support water and beverage refills and assist guests with additional requests. Communicate effectively with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow. Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining rooms, buffets, or banquet functions. Transport soiled dishes and glassware to the dishwashing area safely and efficiently. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures as outlined by the resort and local health regulations. Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and back-of-house areas. The Server provides professional, engaging service to ensure each guest enjoys an exceptional dining experience. This role embodies Dellshire Resort's spirit of luxury and family adventure by delivering high-quality food and beverage service with attentiveness, precision, and warmth. The Server is responsible for menu knowledge, order accuracy, guest satisfaction, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, describe daily features, and answer questions about food, beverages, and resort offerings. Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them promptly into the POS system. Deliver food and beverages to guests efficiently and ensure orders are correct. Monitor tables to anticipate and respond to guest needs. Handle guest concerns with professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution. Process payments accurately, following all cash-handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of assigned sections, service stations, and overall restaurant areas. Assist team members with side duties including restocking, polishing glassware, and setting tables. Follow all sanitation, safety, and resort service standards. Participate in pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and resort events as assigned. What are we looking for? Host/Hostess - Qualifications & Experience Previous experience as a host/hostess or in a guest service role preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a naturally friendly and professional presence. Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer and POS knowledge preferred (OpenTable or similar system experience a plus). Must be 16 years of age or older. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Server assistants - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required. Strong work ethic and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Attention to detail, organization, and efficiency. Professional demeanor and appearance consistent with Dellshire Resort standards. Ability to remain calm, composed, and guest-focused under pressure. Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs. Server - Minimum of one (1) year of previous serving experience in a high-volume or upscale environment preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task under pressure. Knowledge of wine, spirits, and craft beverages preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications required (or ability to obtain prior to start). Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Bartender - Minimum of one (1) year of previous bartending experience in a high-volume, resort, restaurant, or upscale environment preferred. Extensive knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, spirits, and craft beverages preferred. Ability to prepare and serve beverages accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task under pressure. Ability to handle cash, operate POS systems, and maintain accurate transactions. Must be 18 years of age or older. Food Handler and Alcohol Service Certifications required (or ability to obtain prior to start). Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
