Duties Prepare and cook a diverse range of menu items, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Follow established recipes, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials based on culinary trends and guest preferences Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating with precision Manage food handling responsibilities including storage, inventory control, and waste reduction to optimize kitchen efficiency Collaborate with the culinary team to coordinate meal service during busy hours and special catering events Maintain high standards of food presentation and ensure all dishes meet quality expectations before serving Requirements Proven experience in restaurant cooking, fine dining, or catering environments with a strong culinary background Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, knife handling, and meal assembly Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience with menu planning, food industry standards, and kitchen operations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required Join us as a Restaurant Cook and bring your culinary talents to life!
