Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash transactions with precision. Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist with bussing tables, clearing trays, and ensuring the dining area remains tidy and inviting for guests. Support food delivery to tables or counters while practicing safe food handling procedures. Collaborate with team members to ensure quick service times and uphold high standards of hospitality in a fast-food or quick-service restaurant environment. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory checks. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Ability to operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication. Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
