Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Manager to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our restaurant by managing staff, maintaining high standards of food quality and safety, and delivering memorable dining experiences. Duties Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness to ensure smooth daily functioning. Manage staff hiring, training, development, and performance evaluations to build a motivated and efficient team. Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs to maximize profitability while maintaining quality standards. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures to uphold health standards across the kitchen and dining areas. Coordinate shift schedules, monitor customer service levels, and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee an outstanding guest experience. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting. Implement staff training programs on food safety, customer service excellence, and operational procedures to foster continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices. Strong supervisory skills with experience in staff training, team management, and interviewing candidates. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence in both casual dining and fine dining settings. Previous experience in restaurant management roles such as assistant manager or shift supervisor is highly desirable.
