Di Nardo's Ristorante Italiano is Hiring an Experienced Restaurant Manager Pound Ridge, NY |
Upper Westchester County Salary:
$120,000-$135,000 per year plus performance-based bonus potential Housing accommodations and potential long-term business opportunities may be available for the right individual. Di Nardo's Ristorante Italiano, a family-owned restaurant in Pound Ridge, NY for over 52 years, is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. We are seeking a strong hospitality professional with a hands-on leadership style, entrepreneurial mindset, and passion for guest experience. The ideal candidate is someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, values team culture, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences while helping guide the continued growth of a long-established restaurant. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee daily restaurant operations and service staff Be present on the floor during service Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and mentor employees Ensure guests receive excellent service and address concerns professionally Maintain food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and restaurant standards Manage revenue, costs, inventory, and budgets Review sales reports, financial statements, and performance data Help develop programs to increase new and repeat business Ensure company policies, safety procedures, and regulations are followed Coordinate food, fire, water, and health inspections with government agencies Maintain wine, food, and equipment inventory records Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and proper presentation Check deliveries when needed Complete opening and closing procedures
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Professional, outgoing, and self-motivated Detail-oriented and highly organized Ability to make decisions in the best interest of the business Strong guest relations and employee management skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability based on business needs Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Toast POS systems, menu software, and QuickBooks preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, and move throughout the restaurant for extended periods Ability to climb stairs regularly Ability to lift heavy cases when needed
