The Inn at Crestwood is looking for a full-time, Restaurant Manager to oversee hotel restaurant operations. The Job A typical day for the Restaurant Manager includes overseeing the restaurant, managing staff, and ensuring high service quality and guest satisfaction.Job Duties Include:
Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences Create and coordinate dining experiences, special events, and restaurant promotions Manage inventory and ordering of food, beverages, and restaurant supplies Supervise and support restaurant staff, including scheduling and training Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concerns Ensure responsible alcohol service and verify guests are of legal drinking age when serving alcoholic beverages Monitor service quality and assist with improving operational efficiency and guest satisfaction Collaborate with the General Manager of Hotel Operations regarding restaurant needs, operational challenges, and overall guest experience initiatives. Food Manager Certification:
ServSafe, NRFSP, or equivalent required. TIPS Certified, or ServSafe Alcohol Certification, or equivalent required. Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques and safety. Attention to detail. The drive and motivation to exceed expectations. Verbal and written communication skills. Excellent social and interpersonal skills. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Work Environment This job operates in an indoor/outdoor, bar/restaurant/kitchen environment within a hotel. This job continuously uses standard food service and cleaning equipment and chemicals. This job is occasionally exposed to fumes, gases, odors, dust, and biohazards. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, supplies or equipment; reach with hands and arms overhead and below the knees including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping; climb stairs; communicate or listen. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, pull or place cleaning food products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
