In this energetic role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, motivate and develop staff, ensure top-notch customer service, and maintain a vibrant, efficient environment. Your leadership will drive the success of our casual or fine dining establishment, creating memorable moments for every guest while fostering a positive team atmosphere. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced food service setting. Duties Supervise all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and cleanliness standards Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and excellent customer service Oversee inventory control and food management to minimize waste and optimize stock levels Handle cash transactions accurately using Aloha POS, Micros POS systems and ensure proper cash handling procedures Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and uphold rigorous food handling and hygiene standards Lead shift management by coordinating kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service flow Conduct interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training to build a skilled, motivated team Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction Collaborate with culinary staff to ensure quality food production and timely delivery of orders Support budgeting efforts by managing costs related to food, labor, and supplies Experience Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments Extensive background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and staff training & development Strong knowledge of food safety standards, health regulations, and proper food handling procedures Experience in hospitality management with a focus on customer service excellence and operational efficiency Previous roles involving shift management, inventory control, budgeting, and food production are highly desirable Background in fine dining or banquet/catering experience is a plus for versatile leadership capabilities Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership transforms everyday dining into extraordinary experiences!
