is preparing to open a new Jersey Mike's Subs location in Emporia, Kansas, and is seeking a Restaurant Operations Manager to support the restaurant launch, daily operations, and long-term growth of the business. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience who is ready to take on operational responsibility in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, coachable, service-oriented, and able to lead by example. Key Responsibilities Support daily restaurant operations including opening, closing, food preparation, cleanliness, and guest service Train, coach, and support team members while maintaining accountability and communication Deliver a positive guest experience focused on hospitality, speed, accuracy, and consistency Maintain food safety, sanitation, and brand operating standards Assist with scheduling, staffing support, and labor management Support inventory management, product rotation, waste control, and organization Help establish and maintain a positive, high-standard team culture Lead shifts confidently and assist ownership with operational execution Training & Development This position includes required Jersey Mike's training prior to store opening, along with ongoing leadership and operational development after launch. The goal of this role is to become a strong second-in-command capable of confidently leading shifts and supporting overall restaurant performance.
