Job Overview We are looking for passionate and experienced Restaurant Sous Chefs & to join our dynamic culinary team. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and ready to lead with enthusiasm in a lively restaurant environment that values teamwork and culinary excellence. Duties Assist in preparing and cooking menu items with precision, maintaining consistency and quality across all dishes. Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth daily operations. Manage inventory control, including food ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize kitchen efficiency. Oversee food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations to guarantee a safe dining experience. Lead menu planning efforts in collaboration with the head chef, incorporating innovative ideas while respecting traditional recipes. Support catering events and banquet functions by coordinating food preparation and presentation. Train new team members on food production standards, safety procedures, and service expectations. Experience Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive background in fine dining or casual dining environments with a focus on Italian cuisine preferred. Strong knowledge of food production techniques, inventory management, and kitchen management systems. Experience in banquet service, catering, or large-scale food events is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively. Familiarity with food safety standards, dietary considerations, and food handling practices.
