Restoration CDL/Laborer

Position:

Restoration CDL/Laborer Reports to: Restoration Foreman /

Crew Leader Summary:

Utility Traffic & Restoration, LLC (UTR) is now accepting applications for immediate openings for restoration laborers. UTR is a union contractor specializing in traffic control and surface restoration services for utility companies and their contractors throughout the Midwest.

Primary responsibilities:

• Perform manual labor related to hard surface (concrete, asphalt) or soft surface (topsoil, seed, mulch, straw matting, etc.) restoration. This involves restoring disturbed surface areas such as road, curb, sidewalk, and lawn to their original pre-construction state after utility system improvement or other civil construction that required excavation.
• Additional duties as requested by management

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE

  Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record required
• Travel within WI sometimes required
• Must be able to pass background check, drug testing, and DOT physical
• Must always be reliable and professional
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle to and from job sites
• Must have strong attention to detail and surroundings
• Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly in order to communicate with employees, the public, customers and contractors
• Able to perform physically intensive labor including ability to lift 50+ pounds for extended periods of time on a daily and continual basis
• Compliance with all safety regulations is mandatory
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
