About Us The Funky Pumpkin is a small retail shop located in downtown Circleville that opened in October 2025. We offer secondhand items, vendor goods, handmade products, new gift items, and much more. We are called "funky" because we truly have a little bit of everything. We are looking for a friendly and dependable Retail Associate to join our team. This role involves helping customers, operating the register, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment. Ideal candidates are reliable, positive, and comfortable working in the store independently. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner Operate the cash register and handle payments Restock and organize merchandise Maintain store cleanliness and appearance Assist customers with questions and product recommendations Open and/or close the store as scheduled Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items Create a welcoming shopping experience for all customers Qualifications Friendly, dependable, and self-motivated Comfortable working independently Strong communication and customer service skills Basic cash-handling and math skills Retail experience preferred but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items as needed Schedule Part-time position, approximately 8-16 hours per week Scheduled shifts will typically be Fridays or Saturdays from 9:45 AM-5:00 PM Depending on the needs of the store, associates may occasionally be offered additional hours or scheduled for fewer hours Benefits Fun and unique work environment Opportunity to support local vendors and small business
