Retail Manager

Battery Source is a family owned and operated business with over 60 years in the battery business. We currently employ 100+ highly trained and motivated professionals, and we are looking to add to our management team in Thomasville, GA. With a base starting pay matching or exceeding industry standards plus the ability to add to that with our store performance based profit sharing program, you can determine your pay by how much effort you put into your work. You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day functions of a retail battery store including but not limited to:

• Customer relations
• Retail Sales
• Inventory control
• Hiring and Maintaining a knowledgeable team focused on great customer service
• Employee Training in all aspects of store operation
• Employee scheduling for 2-3 Sales Associates
• Accounts Receivable Collections
• Store appearance and maintenance
• Installation of automotive, commercial, marine batteries, and more.
• Selling and building specialty custom battery packs
• Repairing cellular phones and other mobile devices (Training Supplied)
• Cross referencing batteries for all types of applications (This will require a very basic understanding of computer functions such as Microsoft Office and the ability to perform web searches using common search engines and our vendor's web sites.)
• Selling and repairing all types of golf cars (For this reason a limited amount of mechanical ability is preferred, but history repairing golf cars specifically is not required as training will be supplied.
