Job description:

As a part time sales associate, you will be the face of our brands. Duties include assisting customers, maintaining an inviting store environment and working as a team with our other sales team members. Weekend and Holiday availability is required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting customers in selecting apparel, accessories and footwear that fit their style and needs
• Providing exceptional customer service to both locals and tourists
• Processing transactions accurately using our POS System (cash, credit card and mobile payments)
• Maintain visual merchandise standards to keep the store inviting and tidy
• Assisting in stocking shelves, racks, keeping inventory organized and assisting with receiving new shipments
• General cleaning of the store
• Collaborate and work with the team to meet sales goals and store objectives The ideal candidate is:
• Passionate about fashion and sustainable companies as well as the "Newport Lifestyle"
• Friendly, energetic and comfortable engaging with customers
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule, including available on weekends and holidays
• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required, we are willing to train the right candidate
• Able to lift moderate weight and stand for long periods
• Knowledge or interest in Preppy and/or Sustainable fashion is a plus We offer:
