In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will play a key role in maintaining the store's appearance and inventory, while also engaging with customers to promote products and services. Duties Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed. Operate the cash register and handle transactions efficiently. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure an appealing store layout. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. Assist in supervising junior staff members when required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations. Utilize basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory tracking. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
